Dedicated to the residents, businesses and guests of the City of Virginia Beach. The Boardwalk and Seawall are visible reminders of a strong community commitment to protecting all who live, work and visit in our city.

Designed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in partnership with the City of Virginia Beach, this line of protection is intended to protect the people, property and other resources from the forces of nature ever present in our lives as a beachfront community.

Thanks also to our City Council, represented below for their support and assistance in providing a safer, more secure and more attractive beachfront for the enjoyment of all.
