Inscription. This park is named in honor of Bob McGraw who served the City of Bloomington as Mayor from 1957 - 1969. It was Mayor McGraw who championed the need for a Parks and Recreation Department. His vision continues today through development of parks such as this which enhance and improve the quality of life for the citizens of Bloomington.
