Rachel spent most of her professional career working for the City of Yorkville. While employed there she held several positions, but most important was that of supporting members of the community and co-workers who also became friends. In the summer of 2020, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and her 16 years of loyal service had to come to an end. Rachel was a loving friend to many and made an impact that will not be forgotten. She saw everyone in a positive light and gave a lot of love to all those she knew in her short 50 years of life. She truly loved making things look beautiful, and took great pride in making people feel beautiful. Rachel's family would like her memory to be carried on through a few messages that gave her strength, which they hope will bring comfort to those who pass by.
