Don was a devoted husband and father of six who spent his lifetime committed to improving the Village of Medina. He worked tirelessly to bolster local businesses and the village as a whole.
Don was a fixture on Main Street as owner of Kennedy's that was originally founded by his father.
He served on the village board for over 12 years as a trustee, deputy mayor and mayor. Don served many local organizations including the Medina Memorial Hospital and Foundation Boards, YMCA Board, Medina Chamber of Commerce, Decorate Medina Committee and Rotary.
In addition, he developed Kennedy Circle in memory of his father John P. Kennedy. Don was also a founding member of the Medina Development Association.
Above all Don was truly and genuinely committed to the village that he loved!
Erected 2012 by Medina High School Class of 1966, Medina Business Association, Orleans Renaissance Group and the Village of Medina.
