Inscription. Growing up in Twin Township, Akers developed extraordinary music skills that became her life's profession. An organist who studied in France and was fascinated by how the brain processes and interprets organ sounds, she created ORGANISTE as a talent agency and website for organists around the world to share their love and expertise for organ performance. Her legacy lives in the hundreds of students she taught organ and harpsichord at Florida Atlantic University.
