1. Trinity Church Oxford Marker
Inscription.

Anglican worship and congregation established by 1698. The original portion of the church was built in 1711, the 4th oldest building in Philadelphia. Longest continuously held Anglican services in the state of Pennsylvania. Started 10 area missions that became churches. Oldest known grave in the churchyard dates to 1686. Benjamin Rush, signer of the Declaration of Independence, was baptized here.
