Selma Maass-Strauss worked for a family in Hamburg as a lady’s companion. On 4 April 1937, she moved to Rotterdam with this family. Selma and her employer’s family lived at Parkstraat 2 in Rotterdam. In late December 1939 the family emigrated to Buenos Aires. Selma then rented a room on the Heemraadsingel in Rotterdam through one of the family’s business contacts.(Submitted on July 8, 2025.)On 18 December 1940, Selme Maass went into hiding in Gouda. She was later in hiding at the psychiatric institution in Den Dolder.
