Ste. Genevieve Bicentennial Time Capsule

On this date, in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of Ste. Genevieve as the first settlement in Missouri, a "Time Capsule" of historic material was buried six feet west of this marker on the Museum grounds. It is to be opened on the same date of November 16, 2035.
