Inscription.
This work was created to honor one of the most successful programs in the history of college sports, Utah Women's Gymnastics. Their accomplishments can be attributed to many people, all of whom are represented in this commemorative sculpture.

The sculpture stands solidly on three concrete blocks surrounded by the red rocks of Utah. The largest of the three blocks represents the state of Utah, home to its flagship educational institution, the University of Utah. The second largest block symbolizes the University itself, which recognizes, appreciates and promotes the importance of women's athletics to the students and community. The third block represents the dedicated fans, staff and coaches of the women's gymnastics program, who are committed to building champions. All three blocks serve as the foundation on which this dynasty stands.

The square bronze pillars on the foundation represent Utah's national team championships. The gymnast balanced at the top depicts the strength and grace of all the Utah gymnasts, past, present and future, who continue to contribute to this ongoing legacy.
