1. Breidert Green Marker
Inscription. Named after Frankfort's first Administrator, Burton Breidert, this public gathering place is home to community events throughout the year. Originally dedicated in 1986 and reconstructed in 2014, the "Green" is a focal point in the historic downtown district. It serves as a symbol of community and a gathering place for all to enjoy. The efforts of Burton Breidert, and others, to preserve open space while enhancing community charm remain at the forefront of the uniqueness that is Frankfort.

The stage sits along the Old Plank Road Trail and is just east of the Frankfort Grainery, which towers over the park. An American Legion veterans memorial is in the foreground of this photo.
