1. Downtown Saturday Night Marker
Inscription. On Saturday night during the 20's, 30's, and 40's, downtown Huron was the center of social activity. Early in the day, people from town would park their cars in prime spots along Dakota Avenue. Later, people from the country would come to town to deliver and buy goods. After shopping, everyone strolled along the avenue from car to car, visiting and courting.
