1. Kittamaqundi Community Church 50th Anniversary Marker

Inscription. In our 50th year, Kittamaqundi Community Church honors our ancestors. We honor those who lived here with dignity, bravery, hope, and love even while inhumanly treated: the indigenous people who were driven away by colonists and the people later enslaved to work this land. We honor the 20th century pioneers of KC who reconsecrated the barn and these grounds and followed God's call alongside the victimized and disempowered. May we continue to live this call. -2019

2. Kittamaqundi Community Church 50th Anniversary Marker - wide view
and prayer, they answered the call of God in their lives and formed a "coffee house" church in the new town of Columbia, Maryland.

At first, the group met in private homes. But as word spread, more people wanted to be part of this unique worship experience. So they moved to King's Contrivance Restaurant, where on January 5, 1969, the new Kittamaqundi Community Church held its first public worship service.
