1. Patriciërswoning Marker
Dit 18de-eeuwse woonhuis in Lodewijk XV-stijl of rococo staat op de plaats van twee middeleeuwse huizen. In een ervan woonde een van Gouda's belangrijkste bierbrouwers, Dirck van Reynegom (1504-1584). Gouda was toen de grootste bierstad van Holland en de grote uitbreiding van de Sint-Janskerk in de 15de eeuw kon geheel uit de bieraccijns worden betaald. Vanaf 1900 werd het pand een tijd gebruikt als muziekschool, later was het een onderdeel van het Diaconessenhuis 'De Wijk'. Nadat dit ziekenhuis opging in het huidige Groene Hart Ziekenhuis was er tot 2014 opnieuw de muziekschool gevestigd.
Patrician House
This 18th-century Louis XV-style or Rococo residence stands on the site of two medieval houses. One of them was home to one of Gouda's most important brewers, Dirck van Reynegom (1504-1584). Gouda was then the largest beer-brewing city in Holland, and the major expansion of Sint Janskerk in the 15th century was funded entirely by beer excise duties. From 1900 onwards, the building was used for a time as a music school, and later became part of the Deaconess
