1. USS Tennessee Bell Marker
Inscription. This bell, from the battleship USS Tennessee (BB 43), returned to service on Saturday, 17 December 1988 as the trident submarine USS Tennessee (SSBN 734) was commissioned in New London, Connecticut. The commissioning speaker was the Honorable Howard H. Baker, Jr., former senator of the state of Tennessee, who was introduced by the Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable William L. Ball, III.
