1. Rolling Hills Farm Marker

Inscription. The first house on this land, built about 1854 by Albert Bonesteel, was followed by this Gothic Revival stone house built by Frederick Near in 1883. The farm features a barn circa 1890, a pond once used as a quarry, and a former fishing camp. A later owner, Brigadier-General F.C. Wallace, hosted H.M. Queen Elizabeth II during her 1973 tour of Southern Ontario.

Erected 2016 by Heritage Halton Hills.
