1. The Ruins Marker

Inscription. The Ruins is a complex of preserved and modified structures, plus the vestiges of the late 19th Century Coxey Building pylons. Historians report the structural steel that sat atop these brick pylons was salvaged from the 1893 World's Columbian Exhibition in Chicago. The steel has once again been repurposed to create sculptures within Ariel-Foundation Park.
