Jefferson Township near Greer in Knox County, Ohio — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Wally Road Scenic Byway
On August 13, 2004 the Ohio Dept. of Transportation designated the Wally Road in Ashland, Holmes, and Knox counties Ohio's 19th scenic byway.
Most of it follows the road bed of the old Toledo, Walhonding Valley, and Ohio Railroad, 1892-1942, from Loudonville to Greer.
The Wally's designation is unique as it was the first non-state and unpaved road so honored.
The section thru Kenhurst Valley serves as its "Grande Allee".
