Inscription. More than 90% of oranges grown in Florida are squeezed to become orange juice. Citrus juices were first introduced in the 16th century.

It's believed that the Edison family enjoyed them, because when they wintered in Fort Myers they brought fruit squeezers along with them!

— Did You Know? —
Because of their flavor and juiciness, the majority of Florida's Oranges become premium, not-from-concentrate 100% orange juice, while the majority of California oranges are grown for the fresh fruit market.

Erected by Edison and Ford Winter Estates and Florida Citrus.
