English Translation:
May 8, 1310 – Founded by Prince-Bishop Wulfing of Stubenberg. Construction of the Dominican Church.
1337 – Expanded with choir and cloister.
1740 – Construction of the convent house with library.
1803 – Secularization; used militarily as a barracks.
1947–1993 – Concert hall of the Bamberg Symphony. Today: University auditorium, administrative offices, and Schlenkerla beer garden.
