1. Haulage Road Recreational Trail - Marker

Inscription. The haulage road trail is a former transportation route used by Ontario Power Generation (Ontario Hydro) for the construction of the Sir Adam Beck No. 2 power plant in the 1950's. A memorial cairn is located along this trail to commemorate the thousands of individuals whose skill and labour built this plant, as well as other Niagara River power projects.
