His life our inspiration
On September 13, 1995, The United States Postal Service issued a stamp honoring Milton S. Hershey. The first day of issue ceremony was held in the Hersheypark Arena followed by a day long community celebration. The stamp was initiated by the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association to honor their benefactor. This plaque is presented by the Milton Hershey School to the community in honor of its founder.
