1. Native Americans Marker
Inscription. The Pechanga Band of Luiseρo Indians has been in the Temecula Valley for time immemorial beginning at the village of Temιeku near the confluence of the Temecula and Murrieta Creeks and spreading throughout the valley. They were forcibly removed from this property in 1875. The Pechanga Reservation was established in 1882. The Band desires to promote and protect its customs and traditions, rights, interests, common welfare, and enhance services to its members and community.
