1. Addison Parks Marker
Inscription. He was a member of one of Perryville's most prominent families who earned a degree in mechanical engineering and rose to become the President of The Amour Company, in Chicago. He came to dislike the corporate and urban way of life. Quitting his job, he came back home to commercially raise chickens and become the chief engineer of Darnall State Hospital in Danville. His home was covered floor to ceiling with books of all types and he was one the best read people Kentucky has produced. He died very young in 1967 at the age of fifty-five.
