Inscription.

The estate owner and land developer Wilhelm Ferdinand Lenz acquired a long, narrow strip of farmland east of the railway line around 1870. He then had a new road built through the fields: Sedanstraße, which is now known as Leberstraße. Its north-south orientation influenced the subsequent street layout of the Schöneberger district.

In the following years, private land developers and real estate companies purchased additional

Today very little remains of the original development, which consisted of small country houses and three- to four-story apartment buildings that typically had stables and commercial spaces in the rear.
