The Gerald F. Cassidy Memorial Toboggan Slide Park

Gerry was a Lake Placid native who was a member of the 1980 Olympic organizing committee, many local civic organizations and a Lake Placid Village board member for 18 years. While serving on the board it was his idea to have this toboggan slide installed in 1965. This slide has provided many good times for locals and visitors alike.
