Inscription.
This gazebo is dedicated to the enduring community spirit of Commissioner Grace E. Stanko (1945 – 2021)

Grace's outstanding civic leadership spanned many decades and included founding the Perrysville Business Association, acting as ambassador to the Northern Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce, and sixteen years of service (2004-2020) as Ross Township Commissioner. Grace was also a trail blazer for women's leadership and was the first female President of the North Hills Council of Governments.

Through her many years of dedicated service, Grace recognized the importance of preserving community business districts and was a stalwart advocate for the preservation and enrichment of the Perrysville business community. She was an integral member in the partnerships that secured community support and funding for the Perrysville Business Corridor Revitalization Project.

This community gazebo is a result of that advocacy and represents the hard work and perseverance of Commissioner Stanko and the community she so loved.

Erected 2023 by The Ross Township Board of Commissioners.
