Jim was a park Director for more than thirty years. Most of the facilities park users enjoy today were realized during Jim's tenure. He was instrumental in the original construction of the pool and bathhouse in 1956. The renovation of this building in 1995 was begun under Jim's guidance and completed, in large part, with gifts in his memory from his many friends.
