El ilustre periodista revolucionario que encabezó la delegación zapatista a la Convención de Aguascalientes, vivía aquí esa noche de 13 de diciembre de 1914 en que desapareció para ser asesinado, sin que se pudiera recuperar el cuerpo.
Sirva esa inscripción para honrar su memoria a ciento cinco años de su muerte.
Develó esta placa el Presidente Constitucional de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos Andrés Manuel López Obrador en el marco de la conmemoración del día de la libertad de prensa.

The illustrious revolutionary journalist who headed the Zapatista delegation to the Convention of Aguascalientes stayed here the night of the 13th of December 1914, on which he disappeared to be killed, without his body being able to be recovered.
This inscription serves to honor his memory one hundred and fifty years after his death.
This plaque unveiled by the Constitutional President of the United Mexican States Andrés Manuel López Obrador to mark the commemoration of Press Freedom Day.
