Hill was initially buried in Midlothian, later moved to Hollywood Cemetery, then reinterred again to be buried under the monument erected in his honor on Laburnum Avenue, and finally, when the monument was removed, up to Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, Virginia, the seat of county in which he was from.
