1. Ella Poindexter Marker
Inscription. An accomplished musician and an educator by training, Ella served as an officer in the Women's Air Corps during WWII. A faculty member at Gar-Field High School and drama club sponsor, she served as the acting director and actress. Ella was a member and general manager of the Prince William County Symphony Orchestra Board. Upon retirement, she joined the volunteers of Potomac Hospital Auxiliary where she continued her legacy of unselfish giving to her community.
