1. Dennis Farmhouse Marker
Inscription.
You have reached the east side, or "front" of the house. While all of the views from the windows of the Dennis Farmhouse are breathtaking, the view looking east over the front lawn, Creek Road, the farm's wetland on the opposite side of the road, and the mountains in the distance is particularly lovely.

The older [center] photo shows the front of the house, as it looked right before the renovation began, after having been empty for years. You can see the old, center chimney on the roof.

[Center photo caption reads] East side of house, pre-renovation.

[Right photo caption reads] In this mid-20th century photo, you can see the front of the house, as it looked after it was renovated, painted white with green shutters on the windows, a new roof, dormers, and the screened-in porch.
