The Easter Rising
“I have squandered the splendid years
That the Lord God gave to my youth…
I have squandered the splendid years…
To a dream that was dreamed in the heart,
And that only the heart could hold…
O wise men, riddle me this: What if the dream come true?”
(“The Fool” by P.H. Pearse)

One Ireland, One Nation Free and at Peace
On this, the one hundredth anniversary of the Rising,
We pledge our efforts to fulfill the dream:
That Ireland's thirty two counties again may claim,
As the United States have done,
'E Pluribus Unum'
Out of many, one!
