The MiG-29 is a single-seat, twin-engine, 4th Generation supersonic fighter aircraft that can achieve more than double the speed of sound. Designed in the 1970s by the Soviet Union to counter new U.S. fighters such as the F-15 Eagle & the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Helmet-Mounted Sight
First Soviet fighter to be equipped with a helmet-mounted sight, which allows the pilot to target enemy aircraft by looking at them.

Rugged Takeoff/Landings
Designed to be able to operate from rough & austere airfields, thanks to its rugged landing gear & auxiliary air intakes.

Still In Production
Still in production today! The latest variant being the MiG-35, which is marketed as a 4++ generation jet fighter.

Combat Tested
Used in numerous conflicts, including the Gulf War, the Kosovo War, Syrian Civil War, & 2022 Russia-Ukraine conflict.
