1. Richards Cemetery Marker

Inscription. "George Richards and his wife, Fanny Rogers Richards, emigrated to America from Middlezoy County Somerset, England. He was for many years the manager of the gardens at Edgefield's Fatherland Estate and of those at the Tennessee Asylum, later Central State Hospital. Along with the related Austin family, the Richards were stalwart citizens of the Antioch/Cane Ridge Community, actively involved in it's schools and churches for over a century. More detailed information may be found in family papers at the Nashville-Davidson County Archives."
