The Kiwanis Club of Smithville, Missouri dedicates this flagpole to the patriotic spirit & national pride of the past, present & future citizens of the Smithville community. It stands in memory of their teaching to their children, hard work for their community & honors their trust in God.
This flagpole stood before the original Smithville High School from 1952 to 1970.
