1. Parkhill Dam Drownings Marker
On August 12, 1998, two lives were lost at the Parkhill Dam. Mark Gage drowned while swimming, and Police Officer David Nicholson died during the recovery efforts. We learned about the power and danger of the river, the heroism of a Police Officer, the compassion found in shared sorrow, and the strength of faith.
