Inscription. As one of the oldest buildings in downtown Mount Dora, this two-story, molded block building was constructed in 1909 and is one of the least altered buildings. Dr. T.N. Lewis' drugstore was located in the two-story section and the post office occupied the one-story section. The drugstore was known for its souvenirs, postcards, books and soda water. In later years, C.G. Loveless' Cash grocery (1920s) and Otis Hale's grocery (1930s-40s) were located here. L.R. Tremain's Real Estate office was located in the one-story building in the 1920s and J. George LaDue, Realty in the 1930s.
