Inscription. Although remodeled to appear as one building today, originally this structure was two separate buildings. The one-story structure on the north was the temporary building for the Mount Dora Bank & Trust Co. The two-story building was a garage built in the 1910s. It was known as the Service Garage in the 1920s and operated by V.W. Haywood and Wallace M. Pike. Harvey Kimball purchased it in 1932 and ran the garage for about 30 years. The buildings were remodeled in the 1960s, and the garage was turned into a shopping arcade.
