Our Story
The love for agriculture runs deep here at Helene's Hilltop Orchard.
My Great-Great Grandparents established themselves here on this land as a dairy farm in 1919, but they grew BIG pumpkins even then!
My parents, Dave and Helen Pagoria are best described as agricultural visionaries, a couple of city kids who transitioned the small 40-acre family dairy farm into an apple orchard in 1979. As the apples grew, so did their business and in 1993, my father being a young and charming man, named the farm after my mother, "Helene's Hilltop Orchard"
Some could say, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I purchased the farm from my parents in 2017, making Mark and I the 5th generation to farm this soil. We are no strangers to hard work, long hours, and getting our hands dirty. Our vision for the farm is to inspire guests to fall in love with our farm every time they visit by connecting them to authentic experiences that celebrate and embrace Wisconsin agriculture.
We are passionate about investing in the people and growth of our community. This is why we strive to produce the freshest, best-quality fruit, grown with integrity and concern for our land. We look forward to the day our little family farm can welcome the 6th and 7th generations home.
Over time various aspects of our family farm may have changed, but our passion and dedication to agriculture have remained the same. We firmly believe the best food is what's grown closest to you.
