1. Carriage House Marker

Inscription. One of Ontario's few remaining carriage structures, the Carriage house was built in 1911 at a time of transition from horse-drawn carriages to the automobile. W.O. Campbell built the structure as a garage and stable. It was designed to accommodate his Overland Touring Car and his Overland truck. The restoration of the building was designed by prominent local architect Fred McDowell.
