1. Thomaston Cemetery Marker

Inscription. On June 18, 1906, the town of Thomaston purchased two acres of land from John W. and Julia M. Buck for a town cemetery. The land contained a few existing graves with the oldest being Lilian Ibera Lowry Clancy, who died on June 17, 1902. In April 1955, two acres adjoining the cemetery were purchased from John F. and Elizabeth Buck Pack that doubled the size of the cemetery. In March 2022, the Pack family donated two additional acres that increased the size of the cemetery to six acres. The cemetery is maintained through the generous donations of family and friends.
