Location. 40° 46.55′ N, 77° 47.548′ W. Marker is in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, in Centre County. It is on Main Street (Pennsylvania Route 45) east of Church Street, on the left when traveling east. Regarding Town Pump. Historic Boalsburg Red Loop Walking Tour Duffy's Tavern excerpt states:
"To the west side of the building you can still see the old town pump and water trough where the stage coach driver, farmers and other visitors to town would have watered their horses."
Contributor notes that while the town pump is not explicitly listed as contributing to the National Register Historic District, there are historical photos showing the town pump, and its restoration certainly contributes positively to the village's overall historic landscape.
