1. Old Flora Cemetery Marker
Inscription. This plot, 47/100 of an acre, was given by John Flora and his wife, Sarah, as a burial ground forever. This transaction was deeded and recorded on October 6, 1856.

The first burial was around 1830 and the last, Sarah Wooley, was in 1926.

Two known soldiers are buried here: J.E. Moore, a veteran of the War of 1812; and Cory Wooley, a Civil War veteran.

Some 400 of Flora's early citizenry were laid to rest here.
