Domenic and Esther Tesauro. Independence Hall Parking, Inc. (1954 - 2001) , T. Warehouse, Corp. (1980 - 2001). Dominic "Don" Tesauro started Independence Hall Parking, Inc. at 3600 South Darien Street on November 26, 1966 for the annual Army - Navy game. "Don's Lot" began parking cars for all events at JFK stadium and the Spectrum (and later Veterans Stadium on November 3, 1968, opening night of the second Philadelphia Flyers hockey season. In Fall 1980, Don purchased the 45 acre parking lot and warehouse on this site, expanding his parking business and creating T. Warehouse, Corp., a storage facility for the Philadelphia Food Distribution Center and United States Department of Defense. Through nearly five decades, Independence Hall Parking, Inc. and T. Warehouse, Corp. employed over 200 people, not including the employees of more than 20 other manufacturing, storage and retail businesses operating in the warehouse. Don Tesauro, born March 9, 1919 passed away on July 13, 1994, and his businesses were operated by his family, including wife Esther. On May 6, 2001 the businesses were sold to the City of Philadelphia for the construction of the stadium for the Philadelphia Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field.
