Lower Allen Township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
The Garden of Gethsemane
As Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane the prospect of his approaching death on the Cross filled him with an anguished suffering so extreme he sweated blood. We too, like Christ, have the bitter cup of suffering which must be sipped in that lonely garden of bereavement. But the acceptance of Divine Will can give us the strength and solace at the Hour of Eternal Peace.
