Naperville in DuPage County, Illinois — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Ronald J. Keller, Ph.D.
Ronald J. Keller, Naperville's "Music Man," was appointed Director of the Naperville Municipal Band in 1965. Since that time, the organization has grown in stature to become one of the premiere bands in the nation. Ron followed the footsteps of his parents and great-grandfather when he began marching with the band at age 9. It was his destiny to become a musician, a band director in Naperville School District 203, and the director of NMB. The band members, the Naperville community, his students and the many people whose lives he has touched are grateful for Dr. Keller's 50 years of dedication and devotion to music.
Erected 2015 by Naperville Municipal Band.
