1. Built to Last Marker
The Recreation Hall, once called the Concessions Building, is almost all that remains of the huge amount of work done by the Civilian Conservation Corps at this park. The roads and campsites have changed, the uses are different, but the building still stands. Look for elements like the rafters, doors, and archways to see the care and craftsmanship that was used in it's construction. Could you have built this in your teens?
