Leesburg in Loudoun County, Virginia — The American South (Mid-Atlantic)
Vietnam Memorial
Dedicated November 11, 1988 at 11:00 a.m.
We are here today to honor all those who served and sacrificed in the Vietnam War, especially the ten Loudoun County men who did not return from it.
The Memorial Plinth dedicated today, November 11, 1988, is aligned with those commemorating service personnel of World War I, World War II and the Korean War.
The Committee has raised funds from private donations as listed. No federal, state or county contributions were sought.
We hope that this monument to their memory will bring what comfort is possible to the surviving families and friends and always remind the citizens of Loudoun that when duty called they answered.
