1. Submarine Rocket (SUBROC) Marker
Inscription. SUBROC was designed for long-range underwater attack by one submarine against another submarine. Once ejected from the torpedo tube, the rocket ignites and propels the missile at supersonic speed to its target. A nuclear or conventional warhead is then dropped for undersea detonation. Accurate timing and target calculations were crucial.

SUBROC was in service from 1965 to 1987.
