Regarding Third Street. At some point after this sign was made, Third Street was renamed Batavia Road, which already existed on the north end of Warrenville and connected with the north-south Third Street. Only two numbered streets remain in Warrenville: Fourth, a block west of here, and Second, which is on the east side of the DuPage River's West Branch.

3. Jackson Street Marker

The Warrenville Fire Protection District headquarters is across the street. Jackson Street used to cut through to here, but was lopped off for the fire station.
